Craft Party!

Wow! Has it been almost a month since I last posted anything? I meant to upload these photos earlier ( because they were taken December 7th ) but I guess I just never got around to it. Its that time of year again ;-)! When everything seems super busy...yet I've been sleeping in everyday. Breaks from school. Family and friends. Yummy food. And remembering Christ's birth at Christmas time :-)! This is one of the most wonderful times of the year! We've had concerts and cantatas, parties and get-togethers, family and friends. Now that Christmas is over, I really want Spring haha ;-)! But we've still got a few more months to go so...LET IT SNOW! ;-)! Anywho, back on December 7th we had a luncheon and craft time with the young ladies in my church :-)! It was a fun time of food, fellowship, and of course crafts! Just wanted to share some pictures from that time, before 2014 of course ;-)! Maybe I'll do a year in review...that sounds fun ;-)!!! Anyway here's the pictures!!!

The table. I was so excited because I was finally able to use MY dishes and serving trays!

My plate and silverware :-)! And you can see one of my serving trays there ;-)!

The cookies I made for the cookie exchange.

The cookies Rose made.

Eating lunch.

It was really good!

Then we gathered around the piano to sing some Christmas carols :-)!

Decorating vases :-)!

And beading!

I was able to learn how to bead the day before so I would be prepared to help as needed :-)! This was the first bracelet I made!

Its a really fun craft!

All the yummy cookies for the exchange.

I was measuring the necklace I was making to see if it was even and I dropped it! More than half the beads fell off lol...so I had to redo it. But it turned out really nice! And I've even worn it a couple of times ;-)!

All the vases turned out really nice too!

Working hard on beading.

The second bracelet I made.
It was a really fun time! I honestly loved beading, and its a craft I would really like to get into! All ( except my bracelet, the first one, the necklace I made, and Rose's bracelet.) of the bracelets and necklaces we made are for sale to help a little girl, Annie, in our church. She had a heart transplant so all the money earned will be directed to her doctor bills. If you'd like to purchase, or read more about Annie vist:
